there's been an on going discussion about the right pronunciation of palesky.com for as long as i've had this domain. there have been some interesting debates that have transpired (i wish to hell that i could find those old discussions!), but recently there have been some realizations that it may just be a canadian thing. which wouldn't be too far off since I AM!

my stomach is bothering me again. i know that i need to go to the bathroom, but i haven't yet. i haven't made an appointment with my doctor yet, which is probably not a good thing. people at work have started asking whether i'm okay or not, but i can't really answer them honestly since i don't know myself. my energy feels drained and i've been in a pretty funky mood lately. i just want this stomach thing to be done and over with.

i'm exhausted. i've always suffered from insomnia, but lately it's been getting real bad. i think i was up until 4 in the morning, just tossing and turning, waiting for the moment when my mind would no longer think and instead float into a numbing rest. i haven't dreamt much lately (or at least haven't remembered them), i think partly in due to the fact that i've gotten such little sleep. when i crash, i crash.
on a lighter note, it's my sister's birthday. happy b-day sis.

monday, july 24!
work is done, and the day is finally winding down. i'm sitting in this chair here, as i breath deeply, thinking of what the night could bring. my chest slightly hurts, my legs slightly ache, and i've got a pain on the left side of my stomach. i clench at it every once in awhile (the stomach, that is), because it's really a bothersome pain - it's no wonder that i've begun to conjure up nightmares loosly based on the ridley scott film, alien.
if i rock from side to side in my chair, while listening to moby, the pain slightly subsides. the latter isn't quite necessary, as i've found that repeating the same exercise with tortoise can be as equally relaxing. i've also found that i've been rocking longer and longer as each day passes.
perhaps it's time to call my doctor again.

i've been working way to hard. i fell asleep without changing into something more comfortable. the consequence: waking up with coinage all over the bed and crumpled cigarettes in my pockets.

i had an experiement up earlier. you might have seen it - it was a flash thing, with its main subject being fly. now it seems that that fly has flown away. perhaps it'll be back. perhaps not.

so, i'm finally back. it was awhile, i know, but i had things to do. plus my old webhost pacific tech was pissing the shit out of me - my emails weren't getting to me, my ftp and telnet service was snail-ass slow, and they would never respond to my emails. when i finally called them up, they told me they would try to get things solved, and would get back to me within 24 hours. of course they didn't. the next 18 or so calls went the same way, and i just became frustrated. so, now i have a new webhost. but i'll tell you what - it's good to be back.
