Ho ho. I love skies. Thus I'm making this the week of skies.
Wow, it's been awhile. I hate taking breaks like these, but I think I needed to take one. Even though it is a pretty harmless vice, sometimes this journal can be so overwhelming. Well, let me think, what has happened since then...
I think I left of last journal saying that I was waiting for Misty to come over. Well, she came in while I was drifting off into some weird dream and scared the shit out of me. At first I thought it was some dream daemon coming into my reality or something. *laugh* I felt groggy for awhile, but soon I was up and talking to her. I love her. She's so cool. I'm so glad that we hung out that night. We had a good time, and we plan on doing that more often.
After such an interesting night (Misty ended up staying until 5 in the morning) I had the best sleep I've had in a LONG time. I slept through my first class, but it was totally worth it. I woke up rejuvenated and took one of those long, relaxing showers. It had been awhile since I had done that last, and damnit, it felt good.
The rest of the day was blah.
I didn't have to get to work until five in the evening (which is weird, since I've always come in at one.. I guess there's a first time for everything), so I lounged around for a good 4 hours after I woke up at noon. I mostly experimented with shockwave flash stuff, which is totally incredible, by the way. I highly recommend everyone to pick up the plugin.
When I got to work, everyone seemed to be in a good mood. I think it was the gorgeous whether. Hell, it could have been anything. Our store got an extra prize, so we all got plenty of candy. We all got our paychecks today, which apparently was two days late, but we got it today, so that's a good reason to be happy, right? Anyhow, it was nice to see everyone in good spirits.
Work sped by in what felt like a few minutes. When it was time to close up, I was so surprised that I didn't believe Pat right away. I think it feel different when you work for only 5 hours, instead of nine. I like it. I think I'm going to ask for these hours more often. We ended up closing and counting out the registers in record time, and we were outta there with 15 minutes to spare, which has never happened for the 8 months that I've been working there. Saturday was definitely a good day. I was so excited about Flash, that I decided to go home and be a geek playing with me computer instead of hanging out with Allie and Scott. Then again, it's better to take those two in small doses. That's horrible. *laugh* And to think, I used to date Allie.
Well, what did I do today. Absolutely nothing. *laugh* And once again, it felt damn good. This three day hiatus has been good for my spirits, and see?.. You really didn't miss anything. I always fill ya in. *chuckle* I spent a great lot of the house tweaking my newly gained skills on ShockFlash, that is after I did my usual Sunday chores. Vacuuming was actually fun today. What the HELL am I saying? Strike those last two sentences.
Anyhow, ShockFlash is just incredible. Have no doubt, you'll probably start seeing a lot of it on my site. I'd give you a sneak peak on what I've got planned... but then I think I'll be a bastard today. *laugh* Hmm... What else happened? Oh yeah, I talked to James and Miriam more. They're cool. Meeting them over the summer is definitely something to look forward to. Sammy was in a bad mood because some girl stole something that she wrote. I guess I'd be pissed if I found someone stealing my stuff too. The funny thing is that this girl actually wrote Sammy an email that she loved her site and all that flattering shit. How ironic. How stupid.
Anyhow, I've got to get to bed. My warm bed is calling me.
